lighting

    i have 2 40 watt fluro bulbs in a 4 foot ballast
    will those be enough to grow a couple of plants?

    Well, I'm no expert, but I had 6 40w flouros on 4 plants for a while and they took a LOOONG time to grow to even 6 in. (like a month and a half to 2 months)

    That'll do for the cloning ,or seedstarts....not enough for much more than that.....

    they are about 6-8 inches tall
    will i be able to bud them with that amount of lighting??

    Yes..it will bud ,,,of course,,,when you change light cycle to 12/12,it can't help it,but it will take forever,and you wont have much smoke at all,,....

    Get some real light,,,you will be happy..so will the plant..

    that sux causa right now im unemployed
    what wattage would you recommend with a 4 foot ballast that i would get some decent plants out of??
