i was looking online to buy an hps system, but then found out that i need a 170-300 dollar ballast. Are there anyother cheaper alternatives to hps/mh. And is it possible to grow a plant through almost its entire cycle with just a flurescent bulb, no hps or mh. If so what florescents should i be advised to buy. I was planning on getting the plant off to a good start indoors(other outdoor plants i have tried have all gotten dammaged early on) and about a week, or whenever its a decent size, before budding to take it outside. I dont want it to reak up my house.
