lighting

    i want to grow a plant for fun and if i get any weed from it thats cool but i dont want to spend a lot of money on an expensive light. does anyone know what i should get?

    as in the long ones that go on the ceiling?

    As in whatever kind that will fit in your space. But yes the long tube ones are flouros

    I have some flourescent light fixtures that I can use but none of them fit on the top of the closet. Would it work to mount it on the wall of the closet? BTW, the whole closet is covered in aluminum foil.

    Flouresents come in many shapes and sizes and while it is helpful to have side lighting top lighting is most important.
    I you look around a little you will find many flouresent configuratons. Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Lowes , Internet etc.....
