Hi I’ve just started attempting to grow my own plants,but to no avail,once you have the tap root from the seed and you plant it,how much do you water it and do you put it in the light straight away,I’m growing in a tent in my house with 1200 watt light. Any help would be appreciated. Thx Martin
yea keep it about 24 inches away from seedling max bury 1/4inch down in soil and water youll have to start small and go bigger keep it moist but not to wet just dont let it dry right out.
its better to just start with your 1200wtt aswell switching it around can cause stress. so just throw in the bad boy and let it rip. keep it on dual spec at all times a plant buds mainly because of the light hours change veg is 18on6off bloom is 12on12off they do not bud because you gave it bloom nuits or switched light to bloom mode. so having dual spec is best as most strains will really enjoy the multiple spectrums used to grow. grab a couple cfls for light space an led is great main light but they tend to point toward one spot rather than all around so having two 35wtt clfs in 6400k for veg 2700k for bloom will help out alot. same with led cobs they work just as good to better than clfs one led only. two cfl led. three is cfl led and cob.
get a timer youll want a timer and defintly light hangers it will be infinite forgiving on you. get a good timer from a plant growing shop not one from walmart i lost count on walmart ones ive bought that all failed in less then one week. set timer to the hours for veg in veg stage and bloom hours in bloom stage should be veging for at least 5to6 weeks and bloom for 6to8 weeks min. when its on it night cycle(lights out) make sure it completely dark no light at all. only water in the morning once light turns on.
