lighting schedule question

    i have some new sprouts and i have some fluros.i am not sure if i should leave the lights on for 24 hours, or leave it on 12/12.some advice would be real cool because im new to this

    12/12 is for flowering. For sprouts you want either 24/0 or 18/6. Either will work, but 18/6 will give the plants a little down time and allow all your equipment to cool down.

    keep those lights CLOSE to the plants.

    alright i dont know how close to put em tho because last time i burned em and they died

    depends on the intensity of the lights, but id say a foot or so, when they get bigger, I bet you could keep them even closer.

    Im not really sure about this though, I use big HPS lights and keep em a bit further back.

    For fluro's keep a distance of 3" and your seedlings will do fine. For HPS it's 4" per 100 watts of light.

    Just remember to have good air flow!
    Light can be close but you need the air
    thats why leaves burn
