Lighting Question on Wattage

    I have a 400 HPS ballast and lamp, but I would like to reduce my wattage consumption, can I stick a 250 W Lamp on this system ? Thanks !!!

    i think you can do that not sure but the ballest automaticly adjusts what wattage to put out im not sue though?

    no i asked a similar question a while ago, when i had no knowledge on HID's.

    don't do it.
