so I am currently exploring lighting options for a 5 gallon bubble bucket setup for 3 plants and the only thing i have yet to set up is my lighting, while shopping on Ebay I found some set ups that had 400W switchable HPS to MH for around $150-$200 and then I ran into a particular light I had never seen before a UFO LED light that claims to basically do the same as those 2 bulbs while conserving power, has anyone ever used these to grow? and if so did you find that to work as good as HPS/MH combo? thanks for any info
let me be more specific has anyone tried strictly LED lighting with the bubble bucket set up, read a few threads on LED lighting but they were using soil
Don't waste your time and cash just yet on LEDs. You wont be able to beat that HID system with UFOs or any other LED lighting I have seen.
