Lighting help

  1. So I’m on my first grow and realizing my light isn’t near enough (phlizon 1000watt) for my 4x4 box. So now that I’m done paying for Christmas it’s time to upgrade. Looking at getting 4 of these kits. Wholesale Kingbrite 240W Samsung lm301b v2 mix red 660nm quantum board kit for indoor grow heatsink include From m.alibaba.com
Any input would be great. Better light? Different seller? More light? Different spectrum? Again I’m new to all this. My idea is to run all the drivers outside the tent all on dimmers. Please tell me what you think.

  2. I’ve got 2 in my 4x4 and Im very happy . I think 4 might be overkill but I feel that 3 in that tent would be perfect.

  3. My thoughts were if I had 4 on dimmers I’d probably never get to 100% power and would always have the option of splitting up. Do one in a veg tent and 3 in a flower or something. Like I said I’m currently on my first grow. I’ve got 3 autos one of which I pulled today and 3 photos bag seeds that are getting huge.

  4. if you have a veg tent consider 4000k. Really gets young plants off to a good start. I bought a tent just for my 4000k to keep veg plants away from the 3000k and so the flowering plants could get pure 3000k. I run my autos under 4000k for 28 days then move to 3000k until harvest. My two 135w v2 3000k will flower a 2x2 space with very good light. It will do more but the more will be less than optimum. So in the end, it came to about 50w/sq ft for primo light. I could get by with less, but I have no need to prove how little I can grow with.

  5. Right now I only have my one tent. Not sure what I’ll want to to. Keep going with autos or photos.

  6. And I shouldn’t even say tent. It’s a foam box. But after this I plan on just putting up walls and making a smaller room/rooms. I was thinking a max of 5x5. That way 4 kits should still cover that.
