  1. what is the cheapest bulb i can get and be able to flower a small personal amount im trying to yeild maybe j ust an ounce from acouple plants whats the lowest amount of wattage i could use also??
    \t\t ?

  2. If you want cheap, and you really only want .5 ounces per plants you could get away with using cfls. Or you could spend a bit more and get a small hps light, say 150w, and get a couple ounces of weed off the same 2 plants. It's up to you. Check out the grow logs and see what other people are using......

  3. You are approaching this all wrong. By asking what is the cheapest, lowest wattage, etc., you are basically asking how close to unsuccessful you can get. It would take an experienced grower to keep a plant allive under conditions that are borderline survivable. Kind of like saying that you've never flown a plane but want to know how close to the ground you can fly. Close to the ground is where crashes happen and requires a trained, experienced pilot.

What you want is an adequate light that won't cost an arm and a leg. I can appreciate that. Get some warm/soft CFLs or fluoro tubes, or else get a small HPS from Home Depot in the security lighting dept. Think of how much MJ costs, and then think about yielding 1 oz per plant instead of 0.5, and you can easily justify the expense of getting a little better light that will do the job well.
