Starting a stealth op soon. I am going to be using CFLs but i would like some input on what type and how many. It will be a small grow of up to 3-4 plants. I will most likely use Daylight bulbs for Veg and Soft White for flowering. Or should i just cycle the lights and have both types on at the same time? As in, Soft and daylight bulbs through the whole flowering and veg periods? I'll most likely shine 2 of each bulb. Oh and what fert should I use? Ill be getting it from a local flower/ hardware store.
If you want to grow 3-4 plants you are going to need at minimum 300W and/or 9000 lumens to have a decent harvest. Whatever combination of lights gives you the most lumen output is the one that you should go with. If it were me, I would use all four bulbs through the entire grow. Good luck.
