Hey everyone got a question about lighting what is better magnetic or digital ballast's looking at some on htg supply i want to go with The 250 Watt AgroStar grow light Systems/ or 400w conversion bulbs but really whats the difference will it make it grow faster any how thats the magnetic if i go with a digital i want to go with- conversion bulbs also Digital Electronic 400 watt HPS & MH Ballast or/ Complete 250 Watt Digital or/ 400
I'm sure digital ballasts are better, but its not going to make your plants grow faster. You have to have a good ballast to make sure it never fucks up and blows out your light or even fries. Id say the agrostar is good. I went shoppin with my caregiver and the ballast we got was around 209$ and its dope.
Yeah never ever buy a cheap ballast man. My number one rule is, If you wanna grow high quality bud you need high quality equipment. straight up.
