Lighting after potting clones

    Hello, first grow here, I took a clone off a friends aurora plant and rooting was successful. Now they are in bigger pots from their coffee cups I had them in for a week so I could see their roots. I have a 3x3 tent with a 400w adjustable MH bulb. So my question is do I keep the lights on a lower setting and up 3’ away until I see new growth or do I drop it down and crank it up?

    best for seedling is a plain CFL bulb, 6500K. Maybe you already have some in your home. Otherwise for a few bucks go to home depot get the 6500 Kelvin. Keep those a few inces away..
    Going with the MH.. MH bulb are not meant to be dimm. You can dimm a HPS but not a MH. Keep the ballast at 100% with your bulb and you should keep it a lil closer and move air around the bulb.

    Yes I have a ventilation setup that runs through the light, so when do you switch from cfl to mh?

    fml sorry yeah crank it up! but never dimm a MH bulb. it should already be at 400.
