lighter = rough on throat?

    ok so lately i got a new connection with some good bud (no pic's yet i got a camera just its a piece of shit) and i didnt wanna use a lighter on it so i picked up a propane torch and glow rod and tried my bud and smooth as shit :eek: so then i tried the lighter and packed same size bowl and coughed my ass off :(

    so? does anyone try glo rod or anything simular and notice a smoothier taste then a lighter or did i get stupidly stoned and didnt even notice my high and coughed :rolleyes:

    lol, I think you were just really stoned. It doesn't matter what instrument you use to light your weed, you will get the same light. As I said you were probably just really ripped.

    I hear ya bro! I get the same thing. Its the butane in the lighter. I can always taste it and it makes my throat scrathcy. Use the glo rod, or some beeline. I use beeline or a match when i can. Sometimes you cant help but use the lighter though.:rolleyes: Happy smokin!

    its not over kill lol better then the hand held torches people use
    to light them what take forever and anyways propane torches last for along time

    Have you asked the clerk for it? Every head shop carrys it that i have been to. Lighters dont make my throat hurt but they add a taste to the hit.

    I've been using lighters for so long, but I hate them. (bics) After a couple bong hits throughout the day I get a wicked headache.
