Lighter alternative

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Bud420, Feb 9, 2011.

  1. I want to smoke out of my bong but I have no lighter and no way of getting a lighter. I can't smoke up in the kitchen and take a peice of paper from the stove etc...

Anything you guys know of that can help me smoke?

  2. a stick and a stone
    ;)

but no, try lighting a candle in the kitchen, taking it upstairs and use a toothpick or something?
do you have any matches laying around?

  3. Well first off, how do you have no way of getting a lighter?

No joint papers? just light the jay on the stove real qucik...

You need fire to smoke...in most cases

  4. Explain o_O jk

  5. 1am here so nothing is open, no car etc

I have joint papers but when I smoke joints it goes up the vents and my mom doesn't like the smell in the house

  6. light a candle on the stove, then bring that to wherever you smoke, and light your joint that way.

  7. im sorry but I dont like wax in my weed

  8. Light a candle in the kitchen.

Find some paper/sticks/something flammable and take it with you to your room.

    Proceed to smoke.

Why on earth can't you find a lighter or matches? Can you not drive somewhere to get some?

  9. heat up 2 butter knifes on the stove top when their pretty hot take them off put a bud in between them and smoke up

  10. What about a magnifying glass?

edit: pardon, didn't see you were smoking out a bong and made a smart comment about you "wax in my weed" comment.

anyway. why don't you bring a lit candle, and one paper towel to your room with you. light a small piece on fire, light your weed put the paper out in cup of water

    voila!

  12. Dude... Get a flash light... break the bulb but keep the filament attached... turn the flash light on.... use it to light your bud

  13. You've been given multiple ideas. You're out of luck if you're not willing to sacrifice a little bit.

If you have a lighter that has no flame, but still has some sparks, a kleenex, and some sock lint you can create fire! Just put the lint by the edge of the kleenex, and light the sparks right next to the lint. They sparks should catch the lint, and then catch the kleenex. Voila! <-- I've been watching too much Man vs. Wild.... but at least I'll be safe if I'm ever stranded in the woods. :yay:

  14. ok heres one more idea. take a few papers and roll them up to make a bud less joint. all paper then use the candle to light the paper and TADA a mini torch.

  15. not if you watch that show, the bear is an entertainer.. not a survivalist. Most of the shit he does is downright stupid and dangerous if your ever in a simular situation.

to the op, go to bed and buy a lighter in the morning.

  16. Les Stroud > Bear

  17. Batteries and steel wool!

Are we still trying to survive in the woods?

  18. Survivor man is way better... that guy got high in the forest on the show!

    Papa new gunnie(sp) i believe

  19. Les is a survivalist, no doubt about that.. I do worship the man, even have one of his harmonica's. I can do 5 days alone with an ultralight 10lb pack.. its not remotely easy even with years of planing. 5 days with perhaps a few ounces of survival gear, little direction, and 40lbs of camera gear is insane.. Carrying that much weight and none of it is calories is something even seasoned survivalists wont try.

anywase, off the Stroud wagon and back to my point; Bear Gryllis is a pansy and Man vs Wild is little more than a stunt man with a production crew.. Check out the BearWiki.

  20. I disagree. I think he's super informative, and I learn a lot of survival techniques. Between Bear, and my natural wild instinct.... I'll be master of the woods. mwahahaha! :devious:
