Lightbulb vape? Why not test tube?

Basically the same idea as the lightbulb vape but with a test tube.

    Here's a diagram.

    Tube on left;
The grey block is a cork. Holes will be cut into the cork.
There will be a tube that comes out to inhale through and a tube that goes into the test tube to let in air.
    It'll be heated by candle.

    Tube on right;
    Everything packed up.
Candle and tubes all fit inside test tube. I just realised that the lighter doesn't fit but that's OK, I guess.

The concept behind this is portability.

I may somehow add a heating element powered by batteries one day but this is just the start.

    Any suggestions or constructive criticism?

  2. The link won't work.

  3. Yeah.

  4. Fixed the picture. :)

  5. i dont understand how its supposed to work, is the candle lit and put inside or outside the tube?

  6. I've done it, and the tube will heta up, and start to form cracks

  7. what if youre using the testubes from an actual chem lab, not some cheap shits?

  8. Chemistry test tubes aren't meant to be heated?... No...

The candle goes on the outside to heat the test tube up from the inside. The tube on the right is just to show everything packed in.

  9. i dont see why it wouldnt work, you might need something to hold it though, it may heat up enough to burn you

  10. I have a setup identical to this. I would not recommend it for portability however, more along the lines of... bath time :devious::p:smoking:

There we go. All done. Finished it all, tried to connect phone to computer but it wouldn't work. Had lunch, watched some TV, came back and it worked!

The mouthpiece (the flexible plastic tube with the green connector) can be removed and put inside the test tube. The white "cork" is made of runner with holes drilled into it.

The stiff plastic tube inside the test tube can be removed so you can use the whole setup as a vape instead of a bong.

The candle, matches, striker and mouthpiece can all fit inside the test tube for easy portability.

Edit : Does anyone know where I can get a really small bowl?...

  12. That's very similar to the ubie... check out americansmokeless.com

  13. Interesting...

But mine's a mini bong at the same time too. :)

Might buy this and see what it's like, can't be more than $10 or so.

  14. I think you're missing the point of a vape. Especially when yo ask where to get a small bowl :/

It looks more like a mini bubbler.

But for the bowl, use one of these:

    They are basketball inflation needels.

  15. Ive got one made out of a bigger beaker it works pretty well, but takes longer than the lightbulb does

  16. basketball inflation needles for a small bowl!!!! thts brilliant

  17. i use a cigar tube and the same method but it takes so damn long and i barely see any vapor. anyone have any suggestions as to what i should do?
