couple questions: my sprout has been out for around 5 days. i have her under a couple cfls at the moment. when would it be a good time to switch them over to my 250 watt HPS? my cfls are pretty weak and i don't want to try to veg with them. i guess i'm worried about burning the sprout. should this be a concern? as long as i can keep the HPS far enough away should i just start using it now? and how far is far enough? 2 feet? 3 feet? also, i've read that you shouldn't start adding nutrients right away to your sprouts. is this true? when should i start adding them? i'm using a vermiculite/perlite/peat moss medium. thanks.
hello, you can get the sprouts under the hps right now , with a 250w hps you can place the plants under 10" , 2 feet would be too far and light wont penetrate and about the nutes, sprouts wont need nutes , wait for 2-3 week then start adding nutes
