Hello, I have a still fan blowing directly onto my seedlings, it is also blowing the 400w mh back and forth about an inch or less, will this mess with my little seedlings "plant minds"? (on that note, is it ok to rotate them daily?) Also due to using various objects to get the little seedlings to reach the light, the foundation they are on swings back and forth less than a half inch id say..hard to tell, but its enough for me to wonder how this affects the seedlings growth...in the wild that wouldn't be natural at all, which concerns me some. What do you think? Z
Yea, no troubles. Plants are tough and grew for millions of years with all kinds of weather much harsher then a fan. Now if your fans are blowing you lights around that is ridiculous. Why the indoor wind storm?
@snoopdog6502 its a 400w light and it sits mid-way under a staircase. the air "recoils" and blows up the decline and hits the light; since its already light it swings actually about 1 1/2 - 2 inches back and forth....it covers the plants completely though, I have them really close to it (comfortably of course).
As long as the wind isn't too much for the plants' leaves to remain unfolded, and provided the light can't fall on them, what's the harm? Cooler temperatures and more light coverage.. Sounds efficient if you ask me. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
