So to start off my grow space (from pot to roof) is 25in. Tall x 20 in wide x 20 in deep I plan on trying a sea of green grow so ill be filling my space with clones and ill be growing them hydro and my water res will be beneath the box so it won't be taking any of the space grow space listed above. So my question is will I be able to use a 250 watt hps with a cool tube in that space if I veg for around 2 weeks? Any input helps!!
Yes you can use it make sure you get a good size inline fan though. I use a 400 watt in a small cabinet lol keeps it right at 75. You should be good. You really would be best to use a mh for veg and hps for flower but you can still use it. Get an interchangeable ballast ipower makes a good one.
250 I would say would be max for your size. I mean you might be able to pull off 400 with some killer circulation but 250 is more than enough and safe to know you can pull it off instead of wasting money then not being able to make it work.
