Light question

  1. SO I started with about 70 seedlings, and I have planted them all over the area :) Now I have the remaining strongest 10 I plan to plant here at home. My question is......these plants have spent their entire life under the floros, but they are out growing it and will soon have to be moved outdoors. I have had them under the light for 24 hours since the sprouted, will moving them outside cause them flower at all? Here in the mountains we are getting 14 hours of daylight. I don't want to mess them up by dropping them from 24 to 14.

  2. they might flower at 14 hours of light but it will take f-o-r-e-v-e-r to finish unless they are autoflower strains.

  3. Make sure you harden them off before sticking them outside. Gradually get them used to the outdoors for 4-6 hours a day for a week. The change shouldn't cause flowering....the day cycle won't be close enough to 12/12 to throw them, and is gradually getting longer until summer.

  4. Thanks guys. I have them under a window that I have opened to help harden them off. I know the days will be getting longer, I just didn't want to hurt the little girls.
