Light meter…

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by av8ersteve, Jul 11, 2022.

  1. What’s a good light meter for measuring distance from led to plant? I’ll be using a Spider Farmer SE3000.

  2. why do you think you need a light meter?

  5. Did you ever test that app from the other thread?

  6. The DR Lux meter works very well on Spder Farmer style led lights for measuring lux. There are formulas for converting lux to par if you need it. I run hlg with samsung 301h at 120w per board and find that 30,000 lux is a good safe base range. You can go much higher, but not much lower.

  7. I did download it . For some strange reason it did not work. I later installed it onto a different phone. It did not give me the different colors only how bright the light is. I did install it onto a iphone 12 and a android.
Idk i made sure the app was updated . After trying it just said ow well. Yea i was interested in seeing a few of my lights with it . We are talking about the migrow app correct .

  10. The one I own and do not use very often is Sun Systems Par meter. Fairly expensive and collecting dust for the most part.

  11. Some of the best tools you have in your box you never need to use. Lol when you need to use them you know shit really hit the fan. My experience .

  12. the fact you got an LED implies you need a PAR meter that reads PPFD not lux or lumen,
