Light height for Hps and T5

    Well just woundering around what height T5 should be at when starting plant off? When I do switch over to my 250 watt Hps mh what height should it be at later into vegetate it?

    I keep my T5 about 1-2 inches from the plant. The 250watt I would keep around 8 inches or so. I keep my 150watt lights about 6 inches or so

    Really on T5 you can get that close with out burning it?

    Yeah I keep my CFLs and T5 light about an inch away from my seedlings

    Yea CFL's/T5's radiate very little heat. Good air circulation is strongly suggested though.

    Yes of course. CFLs don't get as hot as HPS or MH but they still get pretty hot. Keep a fan blowing at all times. I'm adding a stronger one soon
