Light for clones?

  1. I know I should be kinda going by a PAR photosynthesis level of 200-400 for clones, but would a 35w led grow light work for clones/seeds?

  2. Yeah. I used to use 40w T-12s back in the day. They worked great. I was weird tho. I wound get one "regular" and 1 green (aquarium). I was trying to be smart and give it a fuller veg spectrum...but I don't think it mattered at all.

  3. I gotcha, so I should be able to just leave seeds under here till they start growing some starter leaves then I can put them under my better grow light ? And for clones just wait till their rooted ?

  4. It works good to put them under a larger veg plant or in the corner of a veg area.

  5. That's how I do it. I would root clones just under a florescent.

Or what @Tbone Shuffle said--putting them in a corner of the grow room. The bright light from a grow light, putting them away in the corner is good too. I've heard lots of people do that. Maximizes efficiently of space, etc, and plant gets the right intensity of light, etc.
