Sorry to ask such a noobie question, but I searched around the forum and couldn't find an answer. But I don't have any CFL or Fluro lights, all I have is a 250w HPS and MH light from HTG, but I am under the impression that this would be too much for a sprouting plant. What should I do in the early stages of growth? I live on the top floor of an apartment so I could stick it on my deck or window sill if that works. Also, how long do I have to wait until I can put it in my grow box under the MH light?
Dont put in window it will get lanky and flop over,if thats the only light you have then put plant under the MH bulb,just put light high enough so that it dont dry your soil out.... Try the light at 24 inches above you plant,if plant seems to strech a bit for the light then drop it about 4 inch.... good luck... ps any pics of your set up?
