Light distance

    Hi, what would be the best light distance from the plant if i use a 1000 mh

    18-24" is best but the higher it is the more space you'll be able to cover

    I was at 21 and when i put my back hand at plant level it was a bit hot so i was wondering if i was to burn the plan.

    That's the test -- as close as possible where you can hold the back of your hand comfortably to the light at plant-top level for 30 seconds. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for the plants.
