Ok i have a 400w hps air cooled hood, i currently have the plants about 5" or less from the glass. The glass is cool to the touch when lights are on. I have air blowing into the hood and out the other side back into the garage, my question is how close is too close, not for heat but lumens. I read too many lumens is bad and i wonder if i should raise the light a few inches? Thanks for any help
Cool. Thanksi did have it higher but the buds seemed to really grow once i lowered it. I added 6 2700k cfl around for side lighting
