Light Cycle ???'s

    I'm using 24/7 light with 3 floros and I have a MH on the way. Should I switch to 18/6 when I start using it or could I keep using 24? Are there any disadvantages of using 24 hours of light? Will the plants grow faster or do they need some darkness to grow? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Some people go 24 some go 18/6. Truth is there is no evidence to support either being correct. The ones who go 18/6 have a couple of key arguments. 1 being every living thing needs a recovery period, and the 2nd being why not save on 6 hours of light/energy consumption. The ones who stick with 24, such as myself, I dont think we have any reason besides the fact that it works! So basically its completely your choice and what you decide after you read up on it.     i agree, i use 24/7 than i jsut switch to 12/12 when i want to flower... but you can do it what ever way you want...
