light burn, Bought seeds from Blimburg seeds for the first time and once I took the seedlings from under a fluorescent light when about 6 inches tall and put them 4 foot under my Electric sky 300. they burn. Even turned down all the way and at 4 ft. they still burn. Why are they doing this. Par readings 250 and the leaves are praying, tips turn brown and the ridges turn upwards. What is going on. They are about 9 weeks old and very small.
Temps good at around 75, and ferts good, using Advanced Nutrients and have a meter for PPM around 400 since they are small. , PH is 6.0 and PAR around 300 . Electric sky 300 turned all the way down at 4 feet is burning, around 300 par had leaves praying , twisting, burning tips and fading after a few days from transplanting to RCDwC buckets. Did not check for a day and plants were yellow and brown. I did leave them under a Fluorescent for a few days too many while waiting on my other plants. Never had plants burn at so low par

Looked no pest, PH. PPM are all good. My electric sky is 4 foot above and turned down all the way. I left these plants under a low Fluorescent bulb for nearly a month too long. Can you condition plants to not be able to handle a strong light. Ive used this light for 3 or 4 grows and I have had plants grow up into the light and not suffer like my plants now. the plants are nearly 3 months old, I have clones rooted from the lower branches that are burning also??A pic will not show any thing Im not saying. The ridges curl and twist in with brown tips, the whole leafs are yellowing at the ends, the leaves are praying, but to what, 250 PAR on a meter?. The plants originally looked good, I transplanted them to a large DWC and had the light on high but 4 feet above them. I got side tracked the next day and did not check on them and the second day they were fried. whats going on? the plants are still about a foot tall?? Why are the clones doing the same thing? Ive tried to turn up my ligh a little thinking that it cant be the PAr, but over nite the plants burned!
What's the light schedule? Are these photos or autos? How much are you watering? Reduce the DLI perhaps, reduce the light on hours by 1/2. 400PPM may be a little low, calmag makes up for strong lights is what I've been told, maybe up the nutes? My autos are under 900+ppfd for 24hrs a day, they're dealing with it with only one of them having a small complaint. How long have they been under the new light? Perhaps they need a little time to adjust also.
I have grown for years. Appreciate your help but my plants are in a RDWC,tmps good, par meter works, added calcium along with good nutes.It has to be the light because if I turn it up a hair, my plants react. My light is as high as it will go with 8 ft, ceiling. 18 and 6 light schedule, reg. plants. I never bought from blimburg nor will I buy again. the first 12 seeds did nothing, they replaced only the 6 seeds I paid for and not the free 6. The seeds started ok, I think i kept them too long under a low light waiting for the others to finish blooming for nearly a Month longer than I thought. Even the clones react to a little light with praying and curling.
