I'm getting what looks to be light bleaching on some of my plants... this is suprising to me because I thought you really need a LOT of light to do this. I'm running 2 400W HPS's right next to each other, and my plants are 3-8 inches from the lights. The lights are warm and cool to the touch. Temps are 75 degrees day 65 night. The leaves closest/directly under the lights are turning white, i moved the light up a bit and it helped... Can you really bleach with just a couple 400watters?
I just switched to a new 250w hps from a 250w mh and had it the same distance ( 8" ) and it bleached one whole plant which was about 6" and burned the fuck out of 2 others and bleached part of 3 of my seedlings (2 weeks old) Im growing in a DR60 running at 75oC with 14 plants in 3.5l pots.
