So yesterday I was at school and overhead a conversation between a student and teacher.the students was asking about the odds of there being life on other planets and the teacher kept going on about how it was impossible witch made me very mad and he also kept telling how much bull that was. I kinda went off subject but what are your thoughts on life on other planets. I apologize for the grammar and spelling.
The universe is so big and old that "rare" things aren't as rare as we think. It's far more absurd to think that we're the only life in a universe with an unimaginable number of planets and stars and galaxies, than to believe there's other life out there.

I dont see how life on other planets is impossible, but i guess we wont know anytime soon. Most likely there is, at least thats what i think.
Although the universe is infinte....the odds are like .0000000000000000000000000000001 of there being life on another planet. It's because everything has to be PERFECT for there to be life(enough distance from a star, planet has to be perfect size for liveable gravity, etc) It's insane that we are here to being with.

Yes that teacher is an asshole but probably by the time we find creatures on other planets the human race might be at the end,or that species will be extremely un-advanced.
Yes this is the case for earth, but things may work different somewhere else. Maybe theres a galaxy with different everything, all different chemicals and elements that interact in different ways and create a different kind of life. You never know man
theres fuckloads of life in the universe. but not as much intelligent life, but still a fuckload of intelligent life far far far away frmo here . maybe near that big star in the sky or that one or that one or one thats so dim we cant see it yet
Maaan, thats like looking at a giant ant hill teeming with ants and saying that there aren't any ants in that hill. The chances may be small, but the universe has no foreseeable end, so... think about it.
The argument I hear most,is that earth is the only planet with the proper elements and resources for a living organism.But who is to say life on other planets don't survive off of different types of elements and resources,that us humans wouldn't be able to?
Me and my friend just had a long conversation about this. We are definitely not alone. I don't think some people understand how big the universe actually is. It would be completely illogical to think that there isn't any other planet in the entire universe that can support life other than one odd planet in the milky way.
I know there is other life out there, I have seen firsthand, 2 UFOs that were of extremely advanced technology, 2 days apart, and the second one, i was with several people who also saw it
