So I was reading before that Perchlorate was found in the Martian soil. Perchlorate is a molecule composed of Chlorine & oxygen. I just thought that was interested, & the fact that there was once water on mars. Also the fact that we discovered 6 earth like planets orbiting a star thousands of light years away that is very capable of sustaining life. Discuss what you people of GC think of intelligent life outside earth. Were already making interesting discoveries. it'll keep going, who knows whats really out there. Certain things will always be a mystery. ..but are aliens real, They deff are in some way/shape/form. The deffinition of an Alien simply is.. -"a person, animal, plant, or other thing which is outside the (family),group, orginization, or Territory"
yeah, but we have discovered interesting things already. The fact that water was once flowing on mars is a pretty crazy thing, IMO
Yeah. I agree. No way mars had water if there was no lifeform on that planet. There's just no way we are the only ones.
I think we need to redefine what we consider life. How is electrons moving from one element to another is not life yet it happens all the time. Ponder that shit?
I think we need to redefine what we consider life. How is electrons moving from one element to another is not life yet it happens all the time. Ponder that shit?
Any sort of live whatsoever. Anything living, lol. And that is very true..
Water is life. Alien bacteria. I think Aliens are definately real though. Aliens as in intellectual lifeforms. We already know there is Aliens because didn't we also find ice on the moon? in ice there has to be bacteria or something
There's no doubt in my mind that extraterrestrial life exists, and that some of it is as or more intelligent than we are. But that said, I don't think intelligent aliens exist anywhere near us, certainly not in the solar system. We would have detected them by now. There was probably life on Mars at the bacterial level, or maybe just self-replicating organic compounds, but I very much doubt there's anything left now. I think if there is existing extraterrestrial life in the solar system, it will be on one of the moons of Jupiter or Saturn. They're very cold and dark, and don't have much atmosphere, but otherwise conditions are very conducive to life. Some of them even have water. And if bacteria can live under frozen lakes in Antarctica, something similar could probably survive on Io or Europa.
