Life change. For the Worst

  1. Let me start out by saying today has been the worst day of my life. As of right now I'm quitting smoking and doing other drugs, and also visiting the city. So saying that what went down was... I was picking up a significant amount, and long story short, got jacked. Held at gunpoint and lost everything. The money I was using was to go to school, buy a car, and eventually my own place. Now that is all gone as i am left broke, weedless, and just feeling sick to my stomach. I dont know what to do. Sorry if you guys dont care but this will be my last post, and I hope you all end up better than I did.peace,Chris

  2. Sorry to hear that bro.

You have to be super careful when you're dealing with a large amount of cash. Only deal with people you really trust.

I hope things look better for you, bro.

    Good luck, and best wishes~

  3. Damn man. You make the decisions you want to. Be exactly who the fuck you want to. Life doesnt 'change for the worst'. You make your life man.

  4. damn man that sucks but if u dont mind me asking how much cash u get jacked for/amount of bud?

at least you still have your life man, i mean shit u were robbed at gunpoint

did your normal dude do this to you?

shit i just read that it was his last post....

  5. Something like this would inspire me to stop as well (and start growing) but anyways.

That sucks man. My buddy got jacked a few weeks ago for about $2,000- I had to loan him money to get back on his feet, I felt so bad.

This is why marijuana needs to be legal- to take it out of hands of criminals and give us- The responsible citizens of this country- the right to grow/buy/sell/trade marijuana freely with no restrictions.

Fucking makes me angry that people get there lives threatened over marijuana- and it's not the users fault- it's the distribution system we HAVE to use

  6. Couldn't have said it better myself. +rep

  12. I see what you're trying to say, but f*ck thats harsh. Not cool at all...sorry but I'm giving you negative rep for that - I'm pretty sure he was trying not to get jacked, no-one wants to get jacked, ever.

  14. Shit bro thats fucked... I dont know what to say :(

  15. Wow bro, you just learned several of life's most powerful lessons in one felled swoop. I can definitely understand why you're shaken. Your mind is probably sifting through all of the various nightmare scenarios, probably none of them good, and your gut is twisted up into a million little aching knots. Ugh. However, this is also a time for resolve. Many people get shaken up in life, not nearly as dramatically as you were but instead of choosing to learn from their experiences they become fearful and whither on the vine, damning themselves sometimes to a lifetime of second guessing. You can choose to do the same or put things into perspective.

What the thieves didn't take is the most valuable commodity you'll ever have, your life. For every hardship we encounter in our lives there's always a solution but many times we're too wrapped up with emotion to see it. Relax a while before you make any permanent decisions, let the passage of time temper and develop the emotions you're feeling. I can't tell you how long that will be because that's variable and I don't know you personally. I just know that strong emotions cloud the good judgment which is never far from any of us.

I'm sorry about what happened to you bro and I really do hope you can take some good lessons from this that will make you wiser and more cautious of others. It's sad that we have to be mistrusting these days, but it's a wild world out there as you well know and we don't always know who has our backs.

    Be well and good journey.<O:p</O:p

  16. Im sorry that this happened to you, but maybe it showed you that you were becoming more involved than you should have been as far as smoking and presumably dealing.

Right now you are at a critical time in your life, school is extremely important these days, and its expensive, you dont want to fuck up what could be your only shot at it.

Buying a car will also greatly increase your abilities to get a job, be independent, and grow up more. Its important, and it might be good for you to devote all of your funds towards this and/or the house, it will increase your quality of your life man.

Eventually getting a house, or apartment condo whatever is an important step in your life, probably your biggest. Its a huge leap towards being your own man, and you wouldnt want to screw your chances of being able to move out anytime soon because you are spending too much on weed.

I say its a definately a good idea to quit for now, you need to go through this next stage of your life with a clean body and sober mind. Get back on your feet, move foward and then reevaluate your smoking status. Im happy for you that youre not just going to go right back to smoking, it shows youre a responsable dude, just keep going with it.

  17. Due to what this guy ^ said, I've decided to not stop posting and checking out the city. I appreciate all of the good advise and stuff from you guys. It happened yesterday and already im trying to forget it and move on. My plans are to stop smoking, selling, and even being involved with that type of stuff, for awhile. Today was the last day of my full time job, and now i am only working part time. Im going to quit smokin until I can aquire another full time job. Then I'll work until I make enough to put away for school/apartment. Then maybe, in time, I will start picking up again, being MUCH more careful and second guessing the people I deal with.

Beleive it or not, you guys helped out alot, thanks

  18. Best wishes to you in your troubles... Really sad to see guns overtake the most peaceful drug available.
