Libertarians

  1. Universities can make up their own rules.

  2. With universities usually there is the threat of losing FAFSA funds, but I don't know the specifics surrounding it.

  3. Or they can just expel you...

  4. Errgh, not the biggest the fan of Ayn Rand. You could probably tell from my posts though.:D

Also, got any pics of the 24 in? Sounds damn sexy to me, especially if you're a cheapo gas station pipe.

  5. I got 36 hours community service, and I think 480 dollars in court costs and community service fees. I will never understand why I have to pay to do community service. Ill get it dismissed once I do that, and then I can hopefully get it expunged.

The university gave me a 100 dollar fine, drug classes and random drug testing which I also have to pay for at each drug test.

Btw I am in the mountains of NC as well, I bet you can guess which university.

  6. Then i will leave the country and live in a place where the residents ideas are more similar to mine, that is how freedom works

  7. Because society = more than 1 individual. you can go live in the woods freely if you want
I would suggest convincing more people of your views, and then the masses would agree that individuals should act for themselves :)

  8. Socialists never leave, they infest.

It is libertarians who run from oppression, we want to be left alone. Then we make an awesome country that socialists will infest and rot.

The bankers and central economic planners have conquered the globe, there is no place left for libertarians to escape too. The US is a libertarian mecca at heart, I believe, so it will be hard fought.

  9. this sounds like what freedom would be like.

I dont see freedom as a moral, i see it as a right for being born on this planet.

    ..

I like socialism in theory, But i dont think it would ever be able to go the way I would want it to. With all the corruption now, the corruption would just move from this crony capitalism government, and it would form a crony socialist system (or fascism). And socialists would be saying this is crony when capitalists criticize it. The only solution really seems to be an-cap stuff, so at least we would have a chance against the elites.

  10. Are you seriously suggesting we should place power in the hands of a privileged few to decide what is best for us? Under your system, only a few people have to want you to go and you must. soo... if they don't like ya!

  11. one of the reasons to live off campus.
hope you don't have to pay back your federal student financial aid.

  12. i generally try to be respectful but.....who the fuck are you to decide what is and is not healthy for somebody else??? if you do not grant the people the right to make bad decisions you do not respect liberty.

we do not need to infer that humans are rational beings, austro-libs make no such assertions that i am aware of...in fact the individual irrationality of humans plays very heavily in anarcho-capitlalist ideology.

actually we infer that the market will always react rationally to human irrationality. it is not a market failure that mcdonalds exists. it is a markets rational success to humans innate irrationality.

you are confusing your own value judgements with the idea of rationality. humans do things that are bad for them....its how we roll. just because you (or 10 million "you"s) decide that something is a bad idea it does not give you the right to prevent 1 "me" form doing something....provided of course that i am not forcing one of the "you"s to take part.

    good sheep...get your monsanto alfalfa.

we are social creatures for the sole reason that at some point in the past it was an evolutionary advantage to be so...no other reason, no innate desire to share space with the fucking douche-bag that lives next door. simple evolutionary biology.

and by that argument it is precisely because of self interest and not despite it that we are social creatures...i don't think it is necessary any longer to be a hive creature...somehow i doubt you feel the same way

  13. Might I recommend following in the footsteps of our founders, and go overthrow a government somewhere to replace it with your own?

    Socialists arrive wherever injustice infests.

  14. libertarian/anarchist gonna play good cop bad cop on some socialists.

  15. are you sure you aren't ron paul????

  16. Go read the comments about tea partiers in the msn comments. All it is is talk about killing tea partiers and ron paul supporters. It makes me cry inside for humanity.

  17. socialism =theft=injustice

  18. that they can, just the same with employers... i dont fault them as much for them having possession laws and whatnot but implementing tests for possession is something thats upsetting to me, but whatever i guess

it does, but can't society exist with everyone freely exchangin with each other without a governance of such? society existed long before there was a govt to rule the people

  19. What libertarians are you talking about? The ones who came to America? I hope not....they kinda infested America and killed off anyone in there way ie native americans.

I dont see the point in running, why not try to change the system?

  20. I'd say Socialism arises whenever government starts to take more power from the people.
