Liberals are collectivists. Neo cons are too.

Discussion in 'Politics' started by TheDecline, Feb 20, 2010.

  1. And therefore, are the enemy of Americans and our Founding Father's. America has lost the rugged individualism it was founded on and it will be forever in decline until it regains the values that made it great.

Shed your silly ideas of collectivism and recognize all collectivist regimes are failures and the only way to have a truly happy life is to embrace individualism.

We do not need these leeches and festering open sores that blemish our country. We need strong individuals.

  2. Please define neo con. It seems to have become a catch-all phrase with little meaning.

  3. To me it means people who say they are "conservative" and "republican" but support a large, unconstitutional central government. They spend a lot and favor giving the federal government unnecessary power.

Basically the two party system is "liberals progressives etc" and "conservative republican neo cons etc" The two party system is a collectivist system of oppression. That is what I'm getting at.

  4. A challenger approaches! :D

    Emma Goldman says;

'Rugged individualism' is only a masked attempt to repress and defeat the individual and his individuality. So-called Individualism is the social and economic
laissez-faire: the exploitation of the masses by the [ruling] classes by means of legal trickery, spiritual debasement and systematic indoctrination of the servile spirit. That corrupt and perverse 'individualism' is the straitjacket of individuality. ... [It] has inevitably resulted in the greatest modern slavery, the crassest class distinctions driving millions to the breadline. 'Rugged individualism' has meant all the 'individualism' for the masters, while the people are regimented into a slave caste to serve a handful of self-seeking 'supermen.' ... Their 'rugged individualism' is simply one of the many pretenses the ruling class makes to mask unbridled business and political extortion.

    Lawds! :smoking:

What do you propose to do with these festering leeches ?

Maybe build a big ole camp with a big ole oven and have a bbq..
    Hee Haw cowboy...

  6. How ironic that this is posted to an internet forum.

PEOPLE are collectivists... it doesn't have anything to do with political affiliation.

Excuse me, I couldn't hear you over the sound of my medicare.

EDIT: Is it antithetical for an individualist to intentionally do something for the common social good?

  8. Like the ones Che ran during the Cuban revolution?

One for all the nay sayers and homosexuals and stuff?

  9. The individualist MUST do something for the consumer's good if he wants to stay in business. The only way this mechanism is distorted is when the government reduces competition. Further, your model of charity is forced (which is both illegal and reduces real charity) and less efficient.

I CAN, however, agree with your signature. Neil Young will live forever!

  10. Sadly during every revolution there are innocent victims..
    Cuba was no different..

  11. I don't think rounding them up and putting them into concentration camps was a bug, it was a feature

  12. I believe the central feature of the Cuban Revolution was trying to impliment socialism (unfortunately, not terribly well). Killing homosexuals and such isn't a tennet or feature of socialism dude.

  13. What Sir Elliot is saying is that it was intentional (feature). It wasn't an accident (bug) that innocents were killed during the Cuban Revolution.

  14. Aightio, cheers for clearing that up.

  15. Maybe you don't understand what collectivism is in the sense the OP is talking about.

    Collectivism |kəˈlektəˌvizəm|
    noun
1.the practice or principle of giving a group priority over each individual in it.

That crack about "millions on welfare depend on you" is a slogan masquerading as an argument, populist claptrap, hello Glenn Beck. Your goddamned drug war, launched by Nixon and spun by Reagan (and made infinitely worse by the idiot Clinton) has done more to put families on welfare than any other social institution in history. One out of every four prisoners on Earth is sitting in an American jail.

Have you got that? One out of every four prisoners on Earth are sitting in an American jail. Families have been broken up because of this. 20 million nonviolent prisoners since 1070. For the drug war. For the people who think that God spoke through the anuses of the "Founding Fathers."

Fuck the FFs. They kept slaves, they grew hemp -- Hey, they belong in jail!

  17. Your post is ridiculous.

I don't claim to know the OP's political affiliations, I haven't seen him mention them, at least in this post.

You don't call him a Republican, but that seems to be what you're implying.

I don't see many Republicans arguing individuality over collectivism. Most Republicans and so called "conservatives" are collectivists themselves.

Most people I see making an argument like the OP are either Objectivists, libertarians, minarchists, anarcho-capitalists, etc.

Why do you think the OP supports Glenn Beck, or Reagan, or the Drug War or whatever?

If you had any idea about the true nature of the Constitution, then you wouldn't say "Fuck the founding fathers."

Granted, they were large group of people, with many different ideas and beliefs. Some of those ideas were bad, and some of them were good.

Is the Constitution perfect? No. Not by a long shot. Does it go a long way in protecting our rights from the government? Yes, it does, as long as it's followed.

And you're right, many of the Founding Fathers did own slaves. Some didn't however, and found the idea abhorrent (John Adams, being one example).

And others who kept slaves, Jefferson for example, wrestled and struggled with the morality of it their entire lives.

So, in response to your so eloquently put, "Fuck the FF's", I say, Fuck your own ignorance.

I just said I do not support neo cons. You said I support two neo cons. Glenn Beck and Regan are both neo cons. You do not have a clue what you are talking about. I am a Constitutionalist retard.

I am a medical marijuana patient you idiot why would I support the drug war.

You should maybe go back to coloring books for a while and come back to the internet when you are not such a dumbass.

You little piece of shit you don't deserve to lick the boots of a real patriot. Put the dick back in your mouth and shit up/

Name-calling is not welcome here. -JD

  19. Also, those on welfare DO depend on me and the rest of us who PAY TAXES.

The money these leeches get is not "FREE" it is THE TAXPAYERS.

And when we TAXPAYERS get fed up you can bet your ass we are more well armed then al; the liberals, illegals, and welfare parasites put together.

Theft is theft whether it is through government or otherwise.

  20. Ohhh...

So are you going to shoot all the 'parasites' on welfare cowboy ?
