The Music Hall section is filled with people talking about rap and hip hop. Which is fine, but I wanted to bring some other shit in. People playing real instruments, and using real voices. Not just a poem layed over an electronic beat. I guess its subjective as to what is real and what isn't. We all have our own perceptions based on our life experience. What is real to one person isn't real to another, this is true. To me this music is real, more real than Kanye or Kid Kudi. I just wanted to share. Maybe there are others who feel the same way. It's all good either way.
Kanye and Kid Cudi don't count, real hip hop artists never sold their souls for a car and necklace. Curren$y is about as real as it gets in the "mainstream" world nowadays, and he's not even mainstream anymore ha, dropped YM and TG. But there is some real hip hop that has a vital message it is trying to tell the people. Lost Children of Babylon is one example that comes to mind

I used to hate rap, I only like it now because I know there is some form of realness still out there. every genre has "real" music. "real" should be defined as anything that's musically felt in the soul. you can sorta tell what is and what isnt. theres a depth to real music that fake music lacks even when it's catchy and well performed
