I always stick to BIC and usually buy a 5 pack to last me for a while. Anybody know of a better, more economical or healthier method?
1 bic, 1 roll of hemp string. I've been using the same lighter and same hemp string for over 4 months.
Healthier and tastier? Try bee line, it's a hemp wick coated in bees wax which burns very cleanly. I still use my BIC to light it, but now the BIC lasts me forever since I don't have to keep it lit. Don't buy I-TAL or whatever the cheaper brand is called, I once got it from my head shop and I ended up throwing it away because it tasted like shit, I don't think they use enough bees wax.
I have a hemp stick. The problem is I dont know how to use it. Ive only used it once while burning hash when my friend taught me. Do I just light it like I would with a match stick?
Bic, or i use my hot wand gets the most taste out of my fine green. I ordered the herb iron a couple days ago, should be here any day now then im sure i wont use lighters again.
As for better I would say a real pipe lighter is always good. They range from like 15-several hundred dollars...the less expensive are fine. I believe they all use butane, soft flames, and the flame is at an angle, which makes it way easier to light a bowl and to corner a bowl. For healthier and such I would go with hemp wick. I almost always use a wick.
After spending a lot of money on a lot of lighters ranging from zippos to porches I have settled with clippers ( don't get bic here) as they seem to be the only things to reliably work
do you guys leave your hemp line lit for your whole sesh? or put it out after each hit? seems like it would burn through a lot of the roll leaving it lit for like half hour at a time
