    indoor walk-in closet. i haven't measured it out but its pretty decent sized. im going to put as many plants as i can fit in their. or how many plants do you think i should grow under one 400 hps light? anyways back to the shopping list. id like to stay around 200 dollars for my budget. im just going to grow some bagseed because this is going to be my first time growing. if all goes well this grow ill buy some white widow for the next grow. ill make a list of shit that i know i need.

    timer
    nutes
    pots
    soil
    fan
    thermometer

    anything im missing? what brands should i buy..where should i buy from..i think i may use the soil around the house and i can easily get a fan and pots.

    pH tester, nuteless soil, perlite, vermiculite, neem oil. For your light get a 400 hps with a conversion bulb. Its going to cost more than $200 to do it right, on the other hand if you do it right you'll have several OZs depending on size of your grow space that could 8-10 even 20 oz of weed.

    Number of plants cannot be determined without actual dimensions of you grow space and what lighting your going to use.

    Also be careful of the soil that you just find laying around the house. Make sure there are no time release nutes in it. If it says anything along the lines of "Feeds plants up to three months!" then you should steer clear of it.

    All that the others have added, plus:
    - pocket microscope
    - RH meter (get it built in to your thermometer)
    - sharp scissors
    - string or pipe cleaners for LST
    - epsom salts
    - SuperThrive (some will say yes, some will say i't s a waste of money)
    - mylar?
    - carbon scrubber?
