So i have been trying to move west for cheap for a long time now.. but most people i know are so tied up in the everyday grind and tied down because of their fear to leave behind the familiar, that they just always shoot down my ideas and say its impossible but i don't think it is, all anything takes is a little planning, communication, and patience.. and the balls to just do what you want and stop being a slave to the system.. I want to find a group of some chill people who also want to move to california (northern or southern, id be down for a group vote).. But what i was thinking since nowadays it is expensive to get out there and we all know this, is that maybe on here we could find some people that are willing to just get up and leave their current situation and start fresh.. I want to find some people that are down to rent a house or whatever deal we find, and kinda cram it for like a year so we can all get on our feet, meet people, and make connections.. we would get a place thats a good deal and we would all be roomates, and when i say roomates i mean like 2 people a room.. ive talked to some buddies who used to surf out in cal they said they knew people thatd do 2 people to a room and living was dirt cheap or affordable depending on what you rent... i also knew a kid from LA and he said his family used to share a house with another family, he said it wasn't bad you just cant be selfish and have to respect everyone and lay some sort of house rules and split the duties. So basically im trying to find some fairly chill people, who are just ready to get out and live life while were still young and experience some cool shit.. I know grasscity is full of people like this so i thought id make a thread and ask, i mean shit it wouldn't hurt. If your interested you can pm me, or write in here either works.. im almost 21, in the midwest at the moment.. like to skate, surf, play basketball, burn, go to concerts, and hangout.. so i guess just get a me if your trying to plan something, im in lease till january and after that i dont know what im gonna do, im just tired of feeling like a robot, i wanna get out, live, and meet new and have new experiences.... so yeah lol lets make this happen, you down? plus we could all finally get our med cards.
