Let's all smoke up to mourn prop 19

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by tgrape18, Nov 3, 2010.

  1. It was a wonderful initiative, and brought hope to many of us for a period of time. But I guess things didn't end happily after all... :(

  2. There's no hope left for humanity

  3. im actually filled with rage from this

  4. I just feel numb to it. It's like, damn. Really? Seriously? If this were a hollywood movie and prop 19 was a hot girl held hostage and there was an army of people (the 'no' voters) trying to sop us from getting it? We'd of gotten through and saved that hostage girl. But this is real life. And real life sucks at times like these. We didn't get the girl, and they killed her.

  5. It's a sad day in legalization folks, although we all had high hopes that were crushed, we need to walk away from this with dignity. Stand up and give a hand to our competitors and

GODDAMNIT I WANTED THAT TO PASS.

  6. well i toke'd and i'm still waiting for all the votes to come in. *fingers crossed*

  7. Only 17% of precincts have been reported so far (via CNN), its way too early to call this.

Who do you think you are, fox news? :p

  8. it is not over yet!!! thats only like 1/5th of the votes man......were down for now....but dont turn ur backs yet on this marvolous act!!

  9. Still, it's very very very very worrying :(

  10. Well, I sort of expected a strong split between voters on this.

We likely have districts that are overwhelmingly against or for the measure, so depending on who reported first, the numbers are going to jump around a lot.

Hopefully, LA, SF, Oakland, Humboldt, Mendocino etc haven't been counted yet, those are the districts that should have overwhelming support for it- big points there.

Keep your hopes up and fingers crossed!

  11. have faith!! EVERYBODY BLAZE!!!! maybe it'll send good vibes to the ganja gods! :smoke:

  12. Way ahead of you. :smoke:

  13. Yeah, this isn't over yet. Very few of the big cities that should be voting yes on 19 have reported any results yet. I'm not saying its looking good right now, but it's definitely not impossible for this still to pass.

  14. The news doesn't want it too pass. Of course they're gonna make it look the way they want it to.

If it passes, fuck yeah we got what we deserved. If it doesn't, I guess it was too good to be true, people will always feel the way they want to about the herb, most of them from birth being told it's bad bad bad.

  16. i dont think mendocino or the rest of the emerald triangle are gonna be a yes majority.

like literally half of those counties income are pot related.

if it passed theyd be fucked for a while until they figure somethin out

but i mean if right now we can have a black prez i think we can do this. not to optimistic though
