I just purchased my second grow light and it occurred to me that I now have an arsenal of grow lights. My first experience with “light” was when I decided to go form fish water aquarium to a Marine tank. The first thing I purchased was a 220w Orbit Power compact for a 55g reef tank. It has SunPaq™ Dual Daylight and Dual Actinic bulbs. Obviously I then wondered if I could “Grow” with a light like this. I then set up a 40g cube reef tank with a 175 W MH and 3 36W actinic bulbs. My next light was inherited from my old roommate. It’s a 1000W HPS w/ air cooled hood from Sun Systems. After we broke down our last grow I took the last cash infusion and bought an 8 bulb T-5 SunSystem Light. I love it. And I just bought a 400w MH/HPS light from ebay. I also have 2 55w coral life T-8 lights. LOL I’m ready to setup a Ganga production line. I’m so addicted to growing, its all I think about these days. Im going to go hydro as soon as I can. I have a pH meter and all the pumps I need (from my reefing hobby) so I just need to make the system. I love this shit!
No question. Just found it funny that a year ago i really had no idea what could be done. Had i known growing was this "Easy" i would have started a long time ago. I wish i could tell everyone " Get a Light and grow your own". Its so cool. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Were you salt water only or venture into freshwater gardens as well? I had a 29g freshwater with CO2 injection and a family of tetra's at one point. But i know what you mean about growing It's addicting.
