I’ve run into an issue with over watering since I switched to LED light. I’ve grown a few times with HPS but this is my first LED grow it’s quite the learning curve I’d have to say! Before I repotted them I had a terrible problem with over-watering but changing pots and adding Hydroguard and drastically reducing the amount of water I give has brought things around it looks like. I still have a few leaves showing damage from the over-watering but they’ve made an amazing recovery. For all you other newbies out there this may help you. Best of luck to all of you growers out there......rich Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I'd be looking at adding 30-40% perlite or clean sand/gravel to to your soil mix to allow the water to vent quicker and er yeah ..lift the pot before you water and THINK to water or not if you can't lift the pot grow smaller plants until no further hassles show ...lol Nice too good luck
I made the mistake of thinking that I knew what I was doing lol. I assumed that I could just use the same schedule I was using with HPS I keep journals on everything I do so sometimes I study what I’ve done in the past but I can basically throw all of them out of the window now this is totally different.
