lemon juice and baking soda

    can i use lemon juice for lowering ph and baking soda for raising it safely???????im getting low on ph up and dont want to make a trip to hydro store for just one reason...............i can get 10# at sams club for less than 5$ .......is it worth it???????????

    i know & hear ppl useing lemon juice & baking soda to do what u want w/ no probs, not sure how it would effect if u used it all the time though. also distlled vinager will work as a ph down

    ive heard that lemon juice might only be a temp fix.......not too sure
    i really just need ph up right now because i still have a half a gallon of ph down......
    plus ive been using rain water lately and it starts at about 6.8 so after ferts i need to bring it up about half a point

    I use lime juice to lower in my hydro system.

    ever use baking soda? to raise it?
    i just need to get to the damn hydro store i guess.............
