Legally Tending to A Patients Plants While They Are Away?

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by Typewritermonky, Apr 1, 2010.

  1. I'm in California, and my sister has her medical card, and her legal residence is where I live. She briefly tried growing before she went to college, but never successfully did. I took her plants that she had, and kept them growing in the backyard, but they turned out to be males, and one was eaten by a deer. Anyway, I sprouted new plants and there about the size of the old plants. Can these plants be legally growing at my house if their my "sisters"? She has agreed to let me do it, but will it be legal or illegal without me being her caretaker? If anyone asks, they're her plants.

    Thanks!

  2. i would say that if she lives with you then it shouldnt matter its not like they will know who waters them lol i guess unless they catch u tending the plants

  3. No he's saying that she's away at college or something, right? Correct me...
I think you need to be her caregiver or it ain't legal.

If your not her legal caregiver and she is gone to college, they are your plants

  5. No, you cant grow them if she does not live with you. Maybe you should go get your card too.

  6. the deer is probably eating taco bell right now
