The goverment today spend over hundreds of millions of dollars on catching people who violate the law of smoking Marijuana. They make about 147 million dollars in fines from people who have gotten tickets from cops for marijuna related charges. This brings down our economy for no reason. If they legalized marijuana the crime-rate would drop down significcaly. People woudn't have to deal with strangers they dont know and put themselves in a bad postion. Which is saving many peoples necks in some way. Also it would also benefit the economy. If joints were sold for a dollar each at local gas stations. The goverment would over billions of dollars in the first year(read this in a legit website, dont remeber what was the web adress). Which is at least over 9X of what they make on catching people, which would help us right now since we are in debt. Also weed would become less desirable to many people since some people started it because it isn't illegal anymore and there is no danger in doing it. Just Legalize Weed AMERICA we can do it, we all have a vote in it!
