Legalization

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by Dragoncowman, May 21, 2013.

  1. Just curious, lets someone were to get caught smoking or dealing and get sent to jail, if weed were to be legalized in there state would they be released and would it be cleared of their record?

  2. It would probably take a while because of the sheer number of weed related arrests, but I would bet that they would be released.  Not sure about expunging their record because they did get arrested when it was illegal, but its definitely possible.

  3. My guess would be that if a state was to legalize it, possessing a small amount wouldn't be a criminal offense.  It'll be decriminalized before it's legalized.

  4. Obviously.
