Do yo know your post is completely irrelevant when talking about cheap poorly made replicas of higher end products. Not sure how 'ripping people off' even came into it but. you would need to sell the shit to someone with developmental disabilities or something to actually pass them off as the items that they are modeled after since as soon a you see the items the quality of them becomes very obvious.
Before planned obsolesence, when American manufactures made quality products that did last for years capitalism did work & very well. It's just that our politicians gave into guys like Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of GE Capitol who shut down GE's American incandesant lightbulb manufacturing plant for one in China making CFL's which don't work as well, have mercury in them and get dumped in ,local landfills. Ofcourse all of this was after GE lobbied Washington to change the laws requiring homeowners to use only CFL's, costing more, work like shit, lose American jobs all so GE can make a few more dollars. Just another example of our government favoring big business & screwing the American people.
