is there anyone supplementing a HPS with LEDs? im thinking about trying something in the near future, i was to hang a few LED fixtures around each HPS. and im thinking the first hour of my 12/12 schedule just the LEDs turn on, then HPSs after 10 hours the HPSs turn off but the LEDs remain on for the last hour finishing my 12/12. im going to try this, to save power and also try and replicate dawn and dusk times of day i know that LEDs will no give u the weight a HPS can, but LEDs with give u more compact buds, also studies have shown that 660nm bulbs can increase resin production
im gonna add 2 leds to my next grow along with my 2 1000w hps im just gonna have them all come on at the same time ive been hearing alot of good and bad things about LEDs
