  2. New to L.E.D as well, went with the morsen 600w. Seems to be doing the job. Just about 2 weeks old so it's getting the job done. Mine was around 100$. It being 1000w for under I'm not sure...many people say drop a nice gold bar on a expensive .l.e.d. but I'm sure what u have will suffice for 2 plants if u choose to buy it. U can always add cfl's for extra lighting. Good luck!! 20180505_152241.jpg 20180505_152250.jpg

  4. I've used this on multiple grows so far and it's been amazing. If you're not going to use HLG boards then I recommend this highly. Check out my journals if you want to see it in action. If you want the best though, I suggest going HLG boards. Cant get much better.

  7. Cheers dude

  8. That sounds a bit too good to be true tbh mate. 550 watt for less than 90 quid just doesnt sound genuine. I use mars which are about as cheap as it gets and theyre still £130 for a 270w panel. If its genuine it could produce a half kilo per square metre. But for 90 quid id be surprised if its real.

  12. I know dude this is exactly what I was thinking when I seen it i don't mind spending money it's just this lights description was outstanding and its the best one ive seen . I've literally ready every description on every light .I've got a different light in mind anyway one of them 600w MEIZHI lights would be plenty for 2 plants . Just wanted some thoughts on that one I've found

  13. I know crazy right up on that light ant it .I have got the 600w MEIZHI light in my basket just needed someone else to tell me it was a load of crap haha. I have noticed the repetition MEIZHI and mars have on here so won't risk getting something I can't get a review on . Thanks for your input dude much appreciated

  14. Im a mars hydro addict guys.
Got 6 x old model 600s with another 2 of them on the way.
Ive had them tested by a sparky and they are the claimed 270w +/-5

All bought from mars hydro via amazon and the first 2 i had tested were 545w actual draw between them so i kept the warrantee for the rest but ive got no questions as to the honesty of mars hydro.

Theres a mars hydro grow thread on here somewhere actually.
Ill probably remember to look in an hour or so lol. Ill tag it in when i do itz hiti heavy mow pfftt

  16. He's referring to those 1000w or higher ebay leds you see that are actually like 130 watts. Same wattage as the mars300.

  17. That light posted in the first link actually looks promising. It has small qb style cobs. I've never seen one exactly like it before. I would still talk to onthemooch and get a few of his boards. I've owned mars, platinum, california lightworks, and quantum boards based on samsung lm561c diodes. The qb's are by far the best at growing efficiency as far as grams per watt and efficiency of output as in how much area they can cover for bloom using how many watts. All of those other brands take 25% more power at least to cover the same area.

Get the best leds you can get. Those board aren't expensive. If you DIY they're a little above knock off Chinese light prices per actual watt.
