OK, The Mars II covered the glass, and had installed with lenses, but Mars Pro II don't have, Mars Pro II use the reflective cup. ventilation holes around the Mars Pro II light, but the Mars II is not, only back and side have ventilation holes.
I have been using two of the Mars Hydro 300W in my 2 x 4 x 5 tent for the last year and have had no complaints. Keep them about 18 inches from the plants and you will be fine. You can grow from veg to flower with them. My last plant yielded 3 ounces after 4 weeks in veg and 8 weeks in flower. Here is my current grow with the same lights. Seems like Mars is the only blurple light vendor on these boards trying to resolve matters before they become big issues and to answer questions...Isnt that worth something to anyone?
Oh hell, if you got $500 to spend, don't fuck around with those bottom of the barrel brands. Get you some Quantum Board kits, or put together some Samsung F series strips.
As @Pistils said..That is nuts..Nextlight LEDs are WHITE No Burple!! This is the Mini Model that I paid about $440 for..NO HEAT and NO FAN..All Samsung LEDs..Not the 5 cent each Epistars either!! Meizhi 450 reflectors are flanking it in the photo!
It's all about them promoting themselves.. In fact, If they are so interested..Why are there no instructions in their pkgs? Meizhi includes everything that Noobs need to set up and then follows with an email to new owners!
