ok i was reading that leds use less energy than the hid's and promote better growth? if anyone has any comments on this i would appreciate it, the question is LED or HID? thanks for any help...
Never heard that LED's could be used to grow weed mate, but if you want a low cost light that gives off little heat, go for Envirolites, they come in two power outputs, 125W and 200W, I've used two 125W and you can see the outcome by going to the absolute beginner forum and clicking on Newbie Alert! High output LEDs are the future for indoor growing. Mega efficient, so no give-away high power bills, and virtually NO heat output, so no heat signature. Expensive now, but the cost will come down.
