I am looking at using LED lighting for a grow. I was looking at getting two 225 LED panels of mixed blue and red. It's fairly cheap, low energy use, cool, and small, but is it worth it?
I personally have yet to be swayed to the LED side of lighting. While I think it is well on its way to become the preferred choice of growers i just don't think it is there yet. I have seen several decent demonstrations of effective use of LEDs for vegging but, I have not seen anyone succesfully flower with LEDs alone. And, as we all know, the flowering stage is what we are all after. So, until I see success in that area I will stick with my expensive HIDs. Just my opinion. I am sure there are others. Good luck.
im using 2 with my hps in flowering my first grow with them i got a dime off one plant and about the same off the second good for growing popcorn buds but me and alot others want them dime bag buds
